Taken from the Dutch still-life tradition, this series reimagines flowers in a nightbound meadow on the eve of their cutting. The flowers themselves, many only partially rendered, exist as painted suggestions of tulips, poppies, thistles, and lilies, moving and thriving under an implied moonlight.
