The Wild Meadow series carries my exploration of expansive natural spaces from empirical observation into ecstatic expression, presenting the meadow at a scale as vast as nature itself. The series builds on my interest in “topobiography,” the concept that our lives are shaped by landscape. My own surname, which means “wild meadow” in Finnish, extends this body of work into self-portraiture. Together, these works trace an autobiography rendered through landscape, offered as shared experience.
